The Delhi High Court has expressed concern over the rising Covid-19 cases in Delhi. The third spike in Covid-19 cases has emerged in Delhi making it a grave cause of concern for the Delhi Government. The HC observed Delhi government needs to strengthen the rules to deal with the situation.
However, the AAP Government seeks more power from the HC in order to do that. AAP has demanded 80 percent beds to be reserved in 33 percent of private hospitals in Delhi for Covid-19 patients.
The AAP Government has also challenged the order of the single bench of the Delhi HC. Hearing for the Division Bench is expected to resume shortly.
