Delhi COVID crisis: Noida administration decides on random testing on commuters

The surge in the cases of COVID has definitely sent an alarm ringing for people living in Delhi-NCR regions. Within the first two weeks of November, close to 1 lk cases have been recorded in Delhi and the death toll has also gone up. To combat the situation in Delhi, the Noida administration has come up with a measure of random testing on the Delhi-Noida border.

According to the administration, the move is going to prove helpful in fighting against the spread of the virus. Times Now spoke to authorities posted on the border and according to them, the result will be handed over to the commuters in 10-15 mins and based on their report, the authorities will allow them to travel to other parts of the city.
