Delhi: Congress launches protests aginst Priyanka Gandhi's arrest

The entire Delhi Congress unit came together on the road against Priyanka Gandhi's arrest.

Congress workers protested against the arrest of Priyanka Gandhi by the Uttar Pradesh Police, outside BJP headquarters on Friday.

The party workers shouted slogans against the Priyanka's arrest in Mirzapur earlier in the day. All the senior leaders of the Delhi Congress joined the demonstration.

The entire Delhi Congress unit came together on the road against her arrest.

Party's working president Devendra Yadav said the Modi government is in power of the intoxicating democracy.

In order to protect democracy, we have come to the BJP office to warn the leaders and the PM that to abide by the rule and not to strangle democracy, he said.

Congress workers also burn an effigy of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Party leader Amit Malik said, if the Yogi government doesn't release Priyanka then the Congress workers won't remain quiet.
