Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal urges citizens not to crowd centres on May 1 as vaccines not yet received

A day ahead of the beginning of the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday urged residents of the national capital not to queue up at vaccination centres as vaccines have not yet been received. The third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive to inoculate people in the 18-44 age group will commence across the country on May 1. As per the Delhi CM, he has been assured that three lakh doses of Covishield will be given to the city in the next one-two days. During an online briefing, Kejriwal added: "I request you to not queue up at the centres tomorrow. As soon as the vaccines come, we will make proper announcements. Only then people with appointments can start coming to the centres.”
