Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal makes an appeal, says ‘Wearing a mask is a sign of true Desh bhakti’

There has been an alarming rise in new COVID-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi has recorded over 6,600 COVID cases in the last 24 hours and about 118 deaths. Over 60,000 tests were also done in the one day period, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has now made a desperate appeal to wear mask and has pulled out the patriotism card and has stated that wearing a mask is the biggest sign of patriotism and it is the best ‘desh bhakti’ one can show, Rs. 2,000 fine will be implemented if people are found not wearing a mask. The COVID tally in Delhi is above 90 lakh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken stock of the entire situation. The focus is now laid on zero laxity and the centre and state governments have combined in order to tackle the spread of the virus.
