Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announces weekend curfew in the state to curb COVID-19

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced weekend curfew in the national capital just a day after Delhi registered a new high daily COVID-19 tally of 17,282 cases, as well as 104 deaths. People, who are scheduled to attend weddings in Delhi, will be given e-passes to facilitate movement during the weekend curfew, announced Kejriwal. The Delhi CM assured that essential services would not be affected due to the weekend curfew. He, however, added that malls, gyms, spas, and auditorium will be shut. Cinema halls will be operational with just 30 per cent seating capacity, announced the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
