People in Delhi and NCR, one again, woke up to a hazy morning as the air quality deteriorated to the hazardous category. The air quality in the National Capital remains a big challenge as the reading in more than 10 monitoring stations has entered the poor category.
One of the major sources of pollution, in this season, is the stubble burning which is taking place in the surrounding states. The pollution rate is expected to grow even more as the festivals like Dasherra and Diwali will arrive soon. Keeping this in mind, the Delhi High Court has ordered to take necessary actions to improve the air quality.
