Delhi’s auto rickshaw drivers facing hardship during COVID lockdown

New Delhi, May 16 (ANI): Auto rickshaw drivers in Delhi are facing the financial hardship due to COVID lockdown as roads are deserted to curb the spread of the dreadful virus. It has become very difficult for the auto rikshaw drivers to earn daily bread as there is no customer. The Delhi Government has approved Rs 5,000 financial assistance to the drivers and the permit holders of e-rickshaws, taxis, Phat Phat Sewa, etc. Delhi reported 66,295 active COVID cases till May 16, 08:00 IST
