Delhi: 13 Trains Delayed, One Rescheduled, 10 Cancelled Due to Fog, Low Visibility
New Delhi, Dec 13: Due to foggy condition and low visibility in Delhi, a total of 13 trains are running late, one has been rescheduled and 10 have been cancelled on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Railways had earlier advised the passengers to check the status of the train before undertaking their journey.
Fog has also disrupted the flight operations at Delhi airport.
Earlier on Tuesday, around 15 trains were cancelled and 27 delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India. “The sky will be partly cloudy here with moderate fog in the morning,” an India Meteorological Department official had told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, a degree more than the normal.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday was 91 per cent and visibility stood at 800 metres.
Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average, and the maximum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
