Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been having a really hectic time ever since their wedding. The couple was in Italy last week where they got married, then after returning to India, the newlyweds have been traveling to and fro from Mumbai to Bangalore for their wedding reception. While Ranveer was working until a week before his much anticipated wedding, Dippy took a sabbatical from work post Padmaavat released in January. Now, reports suggest that Dippy has no plans of getting back to work anytime soon. According to several reports online, Deepika will resume work only in March 2019. While after the Mumbai receptions are over, Ranveer will get back to work for promoting Simmba, which is due on December 28, 2018, Deepika's sabbatical is to continue. If rumours are anything to go by then Deepika will portray the role of an acid attack survivor Lakshmi in her next. Lakshmi’s story is both inspirational and has an element of romance too. When she was 15, Lakshmi was attacked by a man who she had turned down; she went on to not just survive this tragic event but is today working together with her husband in rehabilitating acid attack survivors. The film will be helmed by Meghna Gulzar.
