In a mega crackdown on Dawood Ibrahim’s gang, the Enforcement Directorates has provisionally attached fifteen properties in Dubai of late mafia don Iqbal Mirchi's family. The properties include one hotel named Mid–West Hotel and fourteen other commercial and residential properties, which are worth 1.1 Million Dirhams which is approximately ₹ 203.27 Crores.
The entire case revolves around the money-laundering case filed against the Wadhawans who allegedly laundered money for Iqbal Mirchi. Mirchi was also one of the close associates of India’s most wanted gangster Dawwod Ibrahim. The ED has registered an FIR against Iqbal Mirchi and others associate in the case.
