Daily wage workers ‘starve’ as lockdown continues in Delhi

New Delhi, June 03 (ANI): While Delhi government has announced certain relaxations in construction activities amid lockdown, many daily wage workers are still starving. Many workers at labour chowk in Bhajanpura complained of no work and difficulties to make ends meet. “We don’t have any work and any food,” said a daily wage worker. Deprived of the situation, wagers are also shedding tears as families are starving back home. Another worker said, “We have no food. Our children, wives are starving.”
