Daddy Sasha's happiness is in Misha

Mumbai [India], May 3 (ANI): Doting father Shahid Kapoor has already decided how he would like to shape the career of his eight-month-old daughter Misha!

Talking about it at an event, the 'Haider' star said he would not put any restrictions on his darling daughter; the same way his parents brought him up.

"My parents would always tell me when I was small, that you do what you want to do, it is not necessary for you to do what we do. I didn't have any restrictions and expectations from their side. It is important that parents realise you have your rights over them until a point and then they have their own lives to live."

"Misha is just eight months old now, she is very small, but I hope she grows up to do what she enjoys the most! Whatever she wants to do, I wish to stand by her and support her in every endeavour, and give her all the love I can. My happiness is in her happiness."

The 'Udta Punjab' star, who was present at a UNICEF charity event for child education, added, "I was very happy when I got an invitation to attend the event as Mont Blanc and UNICEF have been raising funds for children's education from the past 13 years. I have just had a baby and I understand how important it is for parents to see that their child is getting the right kind of education. This is a great initiative."

On the work front, the actor is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' that also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

When asked about the progress, Shahid refused to divulge any detail and said, "Shooting of 'Padmavati' is still in process". (ANI)
