Cylinder Turns into ‘Rocket’ After Blast in Bhopal’s Watch Showroom (See Viral Video)

The video begins with two men trying to fix a carbon dioxide cylinder with a faulty valve.

Famous for local and street shopping, the New Market in Bhopal witnessed a scary incident on Monday afternoon. A CCTV footage clip from a watch showroom in the locality captured the horrific event as it happened. A 30-kg carbon dioxide cylinder of a restaurant blasted and turned into a deadly rocket. The video clip shows two men trying to fix the valve of the gas cylinder when it blasted and flew off like a rocket. Three people including the watchman who is seen sitting comfortably in the viral video before he was knocked down by the cylinder turned ‘rocket’.

It was a routine Monday for people working at a watch showroom situated in New Market, Bhopal. But what followed next was no less than a scary yet high-octane action movie. The video begins with two men trying to fix a carbon dioxide cylinder with a faulty valve. The CCTV fixed outside also recorded two security guards’ movement – one of them was seated in a chair while other security person stood on the opposite side of the entrance gate. Meanwhile, two salesgirls and a man are seen working inside the showroom.

As the two guys try to fix the vale, the cylinder blasted and flew off like a rocket. While it did not take the upwards direction, the cylinder zoomed off to smash into the watch showroom. It was a miraculous escape for the security person to survive this accident as the cylinder moved past between his legs before crashing into the strong glass-walled showroom. The man was left with a broken leg and two salespersons were also left with minor bruises.

The CCTV present inside the store showed numerous watches getting damaged because of the incoming cylinder-rocket. The footage also shows the two men who were initially fixing the cylinder valve fleeing away from the spot as soon as the accident occurred. Despite the chaotic scenario, everyone would consider themselves lucky to escape the dangerous episode with insignificant loss unlike the cylinder blast in Bengaluru, which left an entire building collapsed resulting in loss of seven lives.
