Cyclone Tauktae Aftermath: Congress questions ONGC's negligence; says responsibility must be fixed

In the aftermath of the Cyclone Tauktae, the rescue operation is currently underway in Mumbai as ONGC barge was capsized and as many as 26 people lost their lives while 40 are still missing. The IMD weighed in and stated that the ONGC plant did not heed any attention to the red alerts that were issued and the two warnings which were issued by the coast guard. Congress party's PrithviRaj Chavan has now weighed in, seeking a probe in this matter and has stated that the responsibility must be taken for criminal negligence. He further asks as to why the barges were not forced to return back?
