In the aftermath of Cyclone Tauktae, a barge P305 of ONGC was capsized on the coast of Mumbai and the rescue operations are still underway. As many as 26 people are still missing while over 40 people have lost their lives. While the navy is working relentlessly to rescue those trapped in the sea, a blame game has ensued in the aftermath of this tragedy. This after the Chief Engineer made a shocking claim that only 2 out of the 14 lifeboats on the barge were functional. The opposition party has upped the ante against Central Government's PSU ONGC and has demanded the responsibility must be fixed.
