Crying kid being mercilessly tortured by her mother in a viral video shared by Virat Kohli is Sharib - Toshi Hashmi's niece. Here's what the music - composer has to say in defense of the kid's mother.

Just a couple of days ago, Virat Kohli had shared a video, which is going viral on social media. In that video, a girl is seen crying while she is being shouted at by her mother simply because she is not able to study right. I’m sure by now everyone out there has watched the video and has wondered how ruthless the kid’s mother is. And now, it has been revealed that the little girl is merely three years old and her name is Haya. She is celebrated music composer duo Sharib Hashmi and Toshi’s niece.

So when Hindustan Times asked Sharib to comment on the video which has the mother mercilessly yelling at the kid who couldn’t stop weeping, he said, “Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don’t know about us. Hamare bachche ke bare mein humein pata hai naah ki hamara bacha kaisa hai! Uska nature hai waisa… Agle hi pal woh khelne chali jaati hai. Agar aap usko chod do toh woh kahengi main mazzak kar rahi thi. Uske nature ki wajah se chod denge toh woh padai bhi nahi kar paayengi.”

He further went on to add that they had no clue how the video went viral. It was basically sent on their family WhatsApp group so that Haya’s father knew how stubborn the kid has become. “Woh video ek maa ka video hai, apne bhai aur husband ko dikhaane ke liye banaya tha, ki bachchi bohot zyada ziddi hogai hai.”

“In every house, there are different kinds of children. Ours is a very stubborn child but is extremely dear to us,” Sharib added further. “Jab baaki logon ko bura lag raha hai toh wo to maa hai. Ek maa ki mamta hai, judgement nahi karsakte hain. Jisne usko 9 mahine kokh mein rakha hai,” he argued.

Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan, too, have shared the video on their Insta feed and a lot of people out there have slammed the mother for such an appalling behaviour. What’s your take on this? Do you think Sharib’s explanation is justified enough?
