Crude oil futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 95 to Rs 3,153 per barrel as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 95, or 3.11 per cent, at Rs 3,153 per barrel in 3,428 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose by 2.64 per cent to USD 42.45 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading up by 2.59 per cent at USD 44.74 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
