Crude oil futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 38 to Rs 2,769 per barrel as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 38, or 1.39 per cent, at Rs 2,769 per barrel in 3,043 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose by 0.90 per cent to USD 37.14 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading up by 0.67 per cent at USD 39.23 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
