New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Monday rose by Rs 32 to Rs 3,852 per barrel as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for February delivery traded higher by Rs 32, or 0.84 per cent, at Rs 3,852 per barrel in 3,173 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil gained 0.86 per cent to USD 52.65 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 1.02 per cent higher at USD 55.60 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
