Crude oil futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 11 to Rs 3,085 per barrel as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 11, or 0.36 per cent, at Rs 3,085 per barrel in 2,837 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose by 0.12 per cent to USD 41.39 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading up 0.37 per cent at USD 43.98 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
