Crude oil futures decline on low demand

New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday fell by 0.47 per cent to Rs 2,759 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery eased by Rs 13, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 2,759 per barrel with a business volume of 3,589 lots.

However, crude oil for December delivery was quoting higher by Rs 6, or 0.21 per cent, at Rs 2,816 per barrel with an open interest of 98 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 1.42 per cent lower at USD 38.86 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 1.43 per cent lower at USD 38.56 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
