Crude bombs recovered from Kolkata's Tiljala Locality hours before phase-1 polls in West Bengal

22 crude bombs recovered from Kolkata, West Bengal in the Tiljala District. Police got tips, although no one yet arrested. It happened late night yesterday just hours before the phase-I polls in the heart of the city where police found crude bombs in two separate plastics, left abandoned in a densely populated area near a canal which created panic among the local people. The investigation has begun and the Anti-Bomb Squad has collected and now trying to safely dispose of these bombs. This unfortunate event took place just before the state elections and the situation seems to be heavily politically charged.
