A crude bomb was hurled at a police station in Titagarh, West Bengal today. This comes after a BJP leader was shot dead by some unidentified assailants. The BJP has alleged TMC for the murder of Manish Shukla. Following the death, a 12-hour bandh was called in the area by the Bharatiya Janta Party.
The case has been officially handed over to the CBI. But there is a lot of violence that is being reported from the BJP supporters and the local people. The body of the BJP leader will probably be given back to the family members. The incident took place right behind the Titagarh police station where 5 rounds of bullets were fired and are currently facing a lot of violence.
