A CPM worker, PU Sanoop, who was also the Pudussery branch secretary, was stabbed to death on Sunday late night in Thrissur city, Kerala. CPM has alleged BJP’s hand in the murder.
This is yet another time we are witnessing a case of political targeting in the state of Kerala. The incident was reported at 11:30 pm.
There were reportedly clashes between members of two parties near Kunnamkulam. While the CPM continues to blame BJP, BJP has refuted all such allegations and have declared that they had nothing to do with it.
This violence comes after six months of rather political calmness in the Thrissur area. So far, no one has been detained.
