'COVID violators will be treated as unruly passengers' says Directorate General of Civil Aviation

The Civil Aviation Authority, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has said that the passengers will be de-boarded if they don’t wear masks properly inside the aircraft and don’t follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. If a passenger violated protocols despite the repeated warning, then that passenger will be treated like an unruly passenger. Apart from this, the DCGA also expressed grief over how some passengers do not maintain social distancing in the airport premises. The notice was circulated after DCGA witnessed blatant violations of COVID-19 protocols on the airport.
