COVID vaccine rollout: MHA to hold training module; Nodal officers to attend via video conference

India is on the brink of getting an approval for the Covid-19 vaccine. Dry runs for the same have been conducted in over four states of India. The Government is all set to distribute the vaccines and has even come with blueprints to do so efficiently. Once the vaccines are rolled out the bigger responsibility of distributing it and making sure it reaches the larger masses will fall into the hands of the State Governments. In order to ensure fair and proper distribution of the vaccine the Ministry of home affairs is going to conduct training sessions as well as maintain a database of the frontline workers. Reportedly they will be on the priority list for the vaccine. The second priority for the same would be citizens over the age of 50 and people under 50 with some illness. The CEO of the Serum Institute of India has said that it will not be long before the vaccine is approved
