COVID surge hits Maharashtra; Stringent Corona curfew until May 1

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced fresh curbs due to rising Corona cases in the State, Section 144 has been imposed in Maharashtra, Only essential service shops to be open, Public transport only for essentials and Restrictions from 8 pm today. The focus continues on the fight back against Coronavirus. The daily activities in Maharashtra might not look good. In the last 24 hours alone, 60,000 new COVID cases have been reported. Maharashtra Chief Minister said that public transport will operate in Maharashtra but only for essential services. All shops to remain closed except essential services. Restrictions to be imposed in the State for next 15 days. ‘There is no other option but to increase curbs in the State. Section 144 to be imposed from tomorrow. Won’t impose complete lockdown but people must observe ‘Janta Curfew’’, said Chief Minister. Watch the video to know more!
