COVID spike in India continues: Maharashtra & Other states to chalk vaccination plan

In mere 2 days into April, and more than 1, 75,000 cases have been reported in the country. Maharashtra continues to remain the worst-hit country in this upsurge with more than 50,000 cases registered only in the past 24 hours. Reports suggest that despite several measures being taken by different states such as partial lockdowns and implementation of protocols, there's almost no chance of dodging the second wave unless the people follow the Covid Appropriate Behavior on an individual level. Additionally, mutant variants from Africa and other regions also contributed to the spike, but the crowd swelling in the wedding season and the lack of responsible behaviour still remains the major concerning factors and reasons behind the second wave hit at the moment despite the swift dispersion of vaccine in the country.
