COVID: ‘Recovery rate 93% in Maharashtra, but lockdown still extended’

Pune (Maharashtra), May 28 (ANI): Talking on the current COVID crisis, Maharashtra Health Minister, Rajesh Tope said, “The recovery rate in the state has reached to 93 per cent. If we measure the parameters of bed availability, now beds are available in every district, everything is under control. Lockdown will not be lifted on June 1, it will be extended. In yesterday's Cabinet meeting it was discussed that lockdown should be extended for 15 days but relaxations can be given in districts where cases have gone down, final decision will be announced soon.” Maharashtra has over 3 lakh active cases of COVID.
