COVID: Rajasthan CM Gehlot calls on societal support to save lives

Jaipur (Rajasthan) May 27 (ANI): Rajasthan Government in cooperation with Hindustan Zinc Limited company of Vedanta group will distribute oxygen concentrators in various districts of Rajasthan. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot attended the distribution programme virtually. Hindustan Zinc will provide 500 concentrators to the state government, out of which 200 have been made available in Udaipur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Ajmer districts in the first phase. Addressing a virtual function, CM Gehlot said that it is a serious challenge before the state government to save the lives of people from the COVID. In this adverse situation, the government is getting the support of every section of the society including private institutions, industries. The Chief Minister called upon every capable person and organization to participate in this campaign to save human life. Rajasthan CM said that the entire country is facing an unprecedented crisis arising out of the second wave of COVID-19. The government is engaged in protecting the lives of the people of the state. Few days back, meeting the oxygen requirement for treating patients became a major challenge. Chief Minister Gehlot emphasised that Rajasthan made a concerted effort to meet the challenges and fulfill future needs.
