COVID positive cases go down, a reality check in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow | Times Now i-report

Reports suggested that Uttar Pradesh was one of the worst-hit states by the Corona virus second wave. With chief minister Yogi Adityanath suggesting that the state defeated the first wave, halted the second, and is all ready for the third wave, we decided to find out what is the status of the hospital in the state's capital, Lucknow. While several doctors and directors of medical colleges and hospitals refused to give a bite on the camera, all of them reiterated one thing that govt did a fantastic job in handling the Covid-19. They even told us that hospital beds are now lying vacant with the number of patients dropping. Meanwhile, a lab technician, the one who had been collecting samples for covid tests, told us that it is because of the lockdown that numbers went down as it stopped them from stepping out of the house to get tested. With all that being said, this how relatives of patients feel about the government.
