UP COVID crisis: Yogi government nods for airlifting oxygen tankers; empty ones to be refilled in Bokaro

India is witnessing an unprecedented surge in the number of COVID cases ever since the first wave of the virus struck the country. Maharashtra continues to remain one of the worst-affected states, however, Uttar Pradesh to is joining the league now. With a shortage in the oxygen supply in the state, the Yogi government has now taken a decisive step as far as the oxygen crisis in the state is concerned. The oxygen cylinders will be airlifted and the empty cylinders will be refilled in Bokaro, following which they will be transported to the state. The Yogi government has been trying to ensure enough supply of oxygen to all the hospitals in the cities which are facing the most crisis and has now taken this step.
