COVID clinical care protocol revised by Centre, includes Ivermectin as a therapy option

The Covid-19 clinical care protocol has been updated to emphasize that the Sars-Cov-2 virus is primarily disseminated through the air. It also recommended careful use of corticosteroids and other medications including Remdesivir and Tocilizumab, as well as the controversial Ivermectin for treatment. The Indian Union Health Ministry has updated its COVID clinical management guidelines, indicating that the virus is disseminated "mostly through the airborne route and droplets generated when the infected individual coughs, sneezes, or talks." This new set of rules differs from the 2020 protocol, which stated that the illness spreads through close contact.
