‘COVID 2nd wave still existent in a limited way’: Health Ministry

New Delhi, July 06 (ANI): Union Health Ministry stated that the second wave of COVID-19 is still existent in a limited way, in parts of the country. The Ministry has advised people to follow precautionary measures. “The number of active cases is less than 5 lakh. While in states like Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim..., more cases are being reported with positivity of more than 10%. The second wave is still existent in a limited way, in some areas, Hence, people are advised follow COVID-19 precautionary measures,” said Joint Secretary of Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal during a press conference on July 06.
