Covid: 2 more deaths, 185 new cases in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 10 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir recorded 185 new cases on Saturday, taking the infection count 3,18,469, while two more fatalities took the death toll to 4,356, officials said.

Of the fresh cases, 74 were from the Jammu division and 111 from the Kashmir division, they said.

Srinagar district recorded the highest 41 cases while Jammu district recorded 22 cases, officials said.

The number of active cases stands at 3,128, while 3,10,985 patients have recovered from the infection so far, they said.

Two people died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 4,356, officials said.

Meanwhile, there were 31 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the union territory as no fresh case was reported since last evening, they added. PTI SSB TDS TDS
