Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal discussed the coronavirus situation in the national capital with Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday, with the latter assuring "all cooperation".

Recovery Rate at 48.88%; Recovered Patients Exceed Active Cases
The Centre on Wednesday said as many as 5,991 patients were cured of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the number of recovered people to 1,35,205, exceeding the number of active cases for the first time.
The recovery rate now stands at 48.88 percent, the Centre said.

DMK MLA J Anbazhagan passed away today due to COVID-19. He was admitted at Dr Rela Institute and Medical Centre on 2 June. He represented the Chepauk constituency in the TN Assembly.
Medical bulletin had stated yesterday that his condition had deteriorated and was 'critical.' ‘Oxygen requirement has gone up once again, cardiac function deteriorated,' the statement read.
