COVID-19 impact intense on Nagpur’s MSMEs, seek govt support

Nagpur (Maharashtra), April 16 (ANI): Butibori which is an industrial suburb in Nagpur city wore a deserted look following the imposition Section 144 to contain the spread of COVID-19. Industries here are shut as there is no manpower. The migrant workers and daily wagers have started moving to their hometown. The small industries here are facing loses. The owners of the small scale industries are seeking government’s help. The owners of the small scale industries demanded rebate in electricity bills, raw materials costs, and in bank loans. To prevent the COVID-19 surge in the state, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday imposed Section 144 starting from April 14. The prohibitory orders are effective from 8 pm of April 14 till 7 am on May 01. During this period, only essential services will be allowed.
