New COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Home Ministry; Surveillance of containment zones mandatory

The Home Ministry has issued new guidelines, keeping in mind the current state of the country with regards to the ongoing pandemic. The new guidelines focus on extending the time period of the already rules and regulations till the 31st of January 2021. Loosely translated this means that all activities that were prohibited up until 31st December 2020 will continue to remain the same. The same goes for the precautions around the Pandemic. The new guideline, however, specifies a more vigorous approach towards the surveillance and maintenance of containment zones. A step of this nature is necessary, considering the favourable bend in the graph.
