With 3,874 deaths in the last 24 hours, India's daily COVID-19 death toll has dropped to 2,87,122, bringing the total to 2,87,122. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, the country saw a single-day increase in coronavirus cases, with 2,76,110 new cases recorded on Wednesday morning, up from 2,67,334 the day before. With the addition of new infections, the country's total infection count now stands at 2,57,72,400. The government and health organizations are working hard to stop the spread of Mucormycosis, which is contributing to the worsening of health among COVID-19 patients. Mucormycosis is thought to have a 50% mortality rate.
