COVID-19 cripples tourism in Darjeeling

Darjeeling (West Bengal), June 30 (ANI): COVID has proved to be disastrous for tourism sector and Darjeeling is no exception. Footfall of tourists was minimal during peak season this year. Shops and hotels struggle to earn profit in “Queen of Hills”. Darjeeling is among most famous tourist spots in eastern India. “From last few months we are facing to run hotel as there are no tourists,” said a hotel manager Amit Rai.
