As COVID-19 cases continue to decline in the country, state governments gradually open public places. The Uttar Pradesh government has allowed the opening up of swimming pools, gyms and cinema halls with certain restrictions. However, according to ground reports, cinema hall owners are not very keen on opening up as they are not confident whether they will be able to cover costs. Even if people start coming to theatres, it will be a very small number as the fear of the virus is still present.
