Covaxin WHO controversy: Mamata Banerjee writes to PM Modi

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has written to Prime Minister Modi over the Covaxin controversy. At present, the World Health Organisation has not approved the Bharat Biotech vaccine Covaxin. Due to the delayed approval, several students who have to travel abroad for higher studies are facing visa issues. Countries are not allowing travel with Covaxin certificates, as they are yet not approved by the WHO. Mamata Banerjee for the same, wrote a letter, requesting the center to intervene and take action so that the students who have invested time and finances don’t have to suffer. She also mentioned that the state has procured both the vaccines, however, it was later, that they got to know of the delayed approval. Watch the video to know more!
