The musician is just one of a number of stars to declare they have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Tom Hanks, Idris Elba and Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju are among those to have confirmed they've been infected.

Elba has praised Hanks for his "transparency" in being open about his diagnosis, noting that it encouraged him to do the same.

In a video released on Twitter, the Luther star said: "I'm really proud of Tom Hanks who's also someone in the public eye. I was definitely motivated by Tom's move there, but also I think, there's some transparency given to the situation when someone like Tom or myself is in this situation.
