Coriander futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday rose Rs 30 to Rs 7,194 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for May delivery went up Rs 30, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 7,194 per quintal with an open interest of 9,515 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said.

For delivery in June, the price went up Rs 28, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 7,322 per quintal with an open interest of 135 lots. PTI SRS SHW SHW
