New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 42 to Rs 6,696 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery went up Rs 42, or 0.63 per cent, to Rs 6,696 per quintal with an open interest of 2,915 lots.

Coriander for delivery in May went up Rs 80, or 1.21 per cent, to Rs 6,670 per quintal with an open interest of 85 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS SHW SHW
