New Delhi, Jan 1 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday rose by Rs 38 to Rs 5,900 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for January delivery gained Rs 38, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 5,900 per quintal with an open interest of 2,670 lots.

For April delivery, coriander prices traded higher by Rs 18, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 6,218 per quintal with an open interest of 745 lots. A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
