New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday rose Rs 38 to Rs 6,600 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for November delivery went up Rs 38, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 6,600 per quintal with an open interest of 2,665 lots.

The spice for delivery in December went up by Rs 40, or 0.6 per cent to Rs 6,690 per quintal with an open interest of 1,925 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS SHW SHW
