New Delhi, Feb 9 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 144 to Rs 6,490 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery went up Rs 144, or 2.27 per cent, to Rs 6,490 per quintal with an open interest of 2,250 lots.

Coriander for delivery in May rose by Rs 190, or 2.99 per cent, to Rs 6,540 per quintal with an open interest of 70 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS SHW SHW
