Coriander futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 136 to Rs 6,290 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for July delivery went up Rs 136, or 2.21 per cent, to Rs 6,290 per quintal with an open interest of 3,370 lots.   Coriander for delivery in August went up by Rs 104, or 1.67 per cent to Rs 6,345 per quintal with an open interest of 1,210 lots.  A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said.  PTI SRS SHW SHW
